I’m delighted to be taking part in the Birmingham Open Studios this year, where I’ll be showing a selection of my original oil paintings on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September at the historic Rest House on Bournville Village Green.
Birmingham Open Studios offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the work in person, discover the stories and inspirations behind the paintings, and find out more about my practice.
The Rest House is a particularly special setting. Built in 1914, it was gifted to George and Elizabeth Cadbury by employees of Cadbury Brothers to mark their Silver Wedding anniversary. Designed by architect William Alexander Harvey, it remains an important part of Bournville’s distinctive heritage.
I look forward to welcoming you and sharing my paintings in this beautiful and historic setting.
